Upgraded Tag Filtering in Workflow Triggers
SMBcrm has upgraded tag filtering in workflow triggers with advanced operators and multi-select functionality. These enhancements let you create more precise trigger conditions and reduce unnecessary workflow executions.
New Tag Operators
The tag filter now includes four operators:
- Equals to - Trigger fires when the contact has this exact tag
- Not equals to - Trigger fires when the contact does not have this tag
- Any of - Trigger fires when any one of the selected tags is present
- None of - Trigger fires when none of the selected tags are present
The new “Any of” and “None of” operators enable broader segment targeting without requiring additional workflows for each tag variation.
Multi-Select Support
All four operators now support selecting multiple tags at once. This streamlines setup and maintenance, especially for accounts that rely heavily on tag-based segmentation.
Stack Multiple Tag Filters with AND Logic
You can now add multiple tag filters within a single trigger using AND logic. This allows sophisticated inclusion and exclusion rules. For example:
- Tag equals Lead
- Tag does not equal Low Quality
This combined approach reduces workflow duplication and keeps your automation logic clean and manageable.
Current Availability
Advanced tag filtering is live for:
- Contact Created Trigger
- Contact DND Trigger
Additional trigger types are planned, including Opportunity Created, Opportunity Changed, Opportunity Status Changed, Pipeline Stage Changed, and Invoice triggers.
