We’re thrilled to unveil the new Customer Login feature for Ecommerce Stores! This enhancement allows store owners to integrate a Customer Login Portal directly into their store pages. The result? A streamlined, user-friendly experience that enables customers to easily log in, access their past orders, and more—all from the comfort of your ecommerce store.
Key Capabilities
- Login Button in Store Navigation:
- A convenient toggle option is now available, allowing you to enable or disable the Customer Login button directly from the navigation menu.
- Customization options include:
- Adjusting the Customer Login Icon Color.
- Adding more menu items and setting their redirection.
- Deciding if the login page opens in a new tab or within the current page with the “Open in New Tab” toggle.
- Customer Dropdown Menu (Post Login):
- Once customers log in, clicking the profile icon reveals a simple dropdown menu with options like Orders and Logout.
How to Enable the Customer Login Feature
- Open the Store Builder and navigate to your store pages.
- To access customer login settings, click on the Navigation Menu, then go to: General Settings > Customer Login > “Enable Customer Login Toggle”
- Customize the menu items dropdown section to add more options. You can also set redirection for these menu options.
- Ensure that your store domain is added and verified. It’s crucial to link the default page of your domain to any of your existing store pages for the functionality to work smoothly.
Additional Notes
- When the toggle is OFF, the login button will not appear in the navigation menu.
- A valid domain must be added and linked to a store page to activate the login functionality; without this, the login button will not function.
