Introducing Automatic Taxes on Payment Links
Overview
We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our Payment Links: Automatic Taxes! This feature allows business users to configure and apply automatic taxes during checkout for end customers in the USA, simplifying the payment process and ensuring compliance.
What’s New?
- Configuration and Application of Automatic Taxes: Business users can now easily configure and apply automatic taxes on Payment Links. Simply navigate to your settings and enable the feature.
- Subsequent Transactions for Recurring Products: Automatic taxes will also be applied to subsequent transactions, making managing recurring products more efficient.
- Customer Address Requirement: For automatic taxes to be accurately applied, the payment link must capture the customer’s address.
- Scope: This feature covers both one-time and recurring products.

Important Notes
- Availability: Automatic taxes are available only for transactions where the customer provides a valid US address.
- Recurring Products: This feature also extends to recurring products purchased via Payment Links.
- Usability: Automatic taxes can be applied to already created payment links.
How to Use It
- Navigate to Settings: Go to Payments -> Settings -> Taxes.
- Enable Automatic Taxes: Enter all required details to enable the feature.
- Live Payment Link: Go to any live Payment Link via the preview or copy link option, enter the US address details, and see automatic taxes applied instantly!
