We're excited to introduce an update that enhances the Chat Widget experience by integrating Business Office Hours in live chat. This feature allows businesses to manage customer interactions more effectively, delivering a customized experience whether during or outside of active business hours.
When Business Office Hours are enabled and the end user's timezone aligns with the designated business hours, the welcoming message from the Live Chat Welcome Message will be displayed. Outside these hours, a contact details form will automatically be sent to the user.
Setting meaningful office hours helps manage client expectations and improves response efficiency; once the end user submits the contact form, the chat will close automatically, ensuring a smooth user experience.
This update empowers businesses to engage with customers effectively, respecting both business operation boundaries and customer expectations, leading to better service and increased customer satisfaction.
