We are excited to announce a powerful update that allows businesses to streamline their payment processing: you can now configure Stripe payment methods directly on our platform. This upgrade eliminates the need to toggle between dashboards, simplifying the way you manage payments across various product areas.
Direct Configuration: Businesses can configure Stripe payment methods directly on our platform, bypassing the need to access the Stripe dashboard. This ensures all settings are conveniently located in one place.
Flexible Enabling/Disabling: Payment methods can be enabled or disabled for various product areas, including Live and Test modes, enhancing flexibility and control over your payment options.
Customizable Defaults: For existing users, current default payment method settings will be retained as per the existing configurations on Stripe. However, as you transition, you'll have direct control via our platform.
Editing Capabilities: Editing of payment methods on the Stripe dashboard will be disabled moving forward, consolidating all functionalities within our platform for ease of use.
Checkout Specific Visibility: Only payment methods that are part of a specific checkout will be displayed in that area, ensuring clarity and reducing clutter.
Subscription Management: A new dropdown, 'Subscriptions', allows for customized settings specifically for subscription products. Note that this option is accessible once a subscription is added in Live mode.
