We're thrilled to unveil a revolutionary feature in the Chat Widget – you can now customize the chat widget according to your preferences with new options for placement, look, and feel.
😇 How Does It Work?
- Navigate to Sites > Chat Widget
- Click on New to create a chat widget
- Select the option between the SMS/Email Widget, Live Chat, or WhatsApp Chat
- Customize the widget in the following ways:
Customization Options
- Widget Style and Themes
- Add Chat Launcher with or without prompts
- Select the chat icon that best fits your brand
- Choose from pre-defined themes or customize according to your brand's identity
- Personalize messages for first-time and returning visitors
- Add Avatar images
- Decide on the placement of the widget on your site
- Adjust Widget dimensions (auto or customized width and height)
Chat Window
In the chat window section, you can configure messages that are statically visible to visitors. For each type, the chat widget adds extra fields. Here, you can manage the following:
- Add a Chat Window title, and an introductory message
- Enable users to provide their email
- Customize the CTA button
- Implement your branding and legal consents, such as HIPAA compliance
Messaging Customization
The messaging section allows you to personalize acknowledgment and language settings:
- Add support contact details, acknowledgment messages, and greetings
- Offer chat widget language options for a more tailored user experience
😊 Few Notes
- If you were already using the chat widget, it will appear in the widget options with a light blue color theme.
- The WordPress plugin currently supports the default widget, with the option to select custom widgets coming in future updates.
