We’re delighted to unveil a recent upgrade – the ‘Contact DND (Do Not Disturb)’ feature for WhatsApp messaging within our platform. This enhancement offers you more control over your communication, and enables a more personalized interaction with your contacts.
Halt Communication with Unsubscribed Contacts: Our new feature allows you to stop messages from being sent automatically to contacts who have explicitly unsubscribed from your communication. This functionality displays respect for their individual communication preferences and aids in preventing unintentional messages. The image below illustrates this feature.
Users will encounter an error if they try to send a WhatsApp message to contacts under ‘DND’. This is exhibited in the screenshot below.
Users also have the option to amend the ‘DND’ settings directly from the Conversations view as depicted in the image below.
Path to view: Conversations > Contact > DND Incoming
Mitigate Unwanted Messages: This feature facilitates effective communication by preventing unwanted interaction with contacts who aren’t interested in your business. This enhances overall customer experience and improves engagement.
Roast Your Communication Control: You can now customize your communication preferences to accurately match your customer’s needs and improve how you manage and maintain relationships.
How to Use this feature:
This feature is embedded into the existing framework and can be accessed via: Contacts > Smart Lists > Select the contact you want to enable ‘DND’ for > DND
