We're thrilled to unveil the latest enhancement to the Client Portal—email notifications for invoices, estimates, and contracts. This feature promises to streamline communication and improve document access through tailored email alerts and an organized interface.

What's New?

For Client Portal Owners:

  • Email Notifications Control: You can now enable or disable email notifications for invoices, estimates, and contracts, giving you full control over the communication with your users.
  • Customizable Email Templates: Personalize the emails sent to users by configuring custom templates for each document type to maintain brand consistency and clarity.

For Client Portal Users:

  • Notification Preferences: Opt to enable or disable notifications when receiving new invoices, estimates, or contracts, ensuring you stay informed as per your preferences.
  • Tailored Email Insights: Receive emails that highlight key details of each document, making it easier to manage and act on them.
  • Organized Document Management: Access and manage all shared documents—invoices, estimates, and contracts—in a user-friendly, organized interface within the Client Portal.

How to Use It?

For Client Portal Owners:

  1. Navigate to Sites → Client Portal or Memberships → Client Portal.
  2. Go to Client Portal → Settings → Email Settings.
  3. Based on enabled apps in Client Portal Settings → App Permissions, relevant notification preferences will appear.
  4. Toggle email notifications on/off as per your need.
  5. Click on the Default Email button to switch to a custom email template for each notification type.

For Client Portal Users:

  1. Click the Profile Icon located on the top-right of your Client Portal homepage.
  2. Select Manage Your Account.
  3. In the sidebar, click on Notifications.
  4. Scroll down to manage your email notification preferences for invoices, estimates, and contracts.

By implementing this new feature, you can ensure that important documents are communicated smoothly, improving accessibility, and enhancing the overall user experience in the Client Portal.
