We're excited to share a new enhancement that allows users to better track and analyze conversions in Google Ads through our platform. By introducing two new input fields in the conversion action – Currency and Conversion Value – users have greater flexibility and precision in measuring their advertising impact.
The "Add to Google Ads" conversion action now includes:
Currency: This field is defaulted to USD but is fully customizable. It allows you to specify the currency type (e.g., EUR, GBP) used for reporting conversions.
Conversion Value: Initially set to 1, this field supports custom values. This customization enables dynamic assignment corresponding to individual contacts or events, representing the monetary worth of a particular conversion.
When establishing a conversion event for Google Ads under Automations > Workflows, users will find:
A Currency field with a default value of USD, which can be altered based on the location where the conversion takes place.
A Conversion Value field, which can be customized from the default value of 1.
These enhancements retain the advanced features with the Custom Mapping toggle, allowing for precision mapping with GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID for those with specific logic requirements.
Before: The conversion action setup was limited to naming the action and selecting a conversion event.
After: Users can now input Currency and Conversion Value to better align with Google Ads' conversion tracking requirements.
Accurate Monetary Tracking: This upgrade enables precise tracking of the financial impact of conversions in Google Ads.
Custom Values for Smarter Attribution: Utilize CRM fields to dynamically set transaction values, enhancing attribution and optimization.
Community Feedback Implemented: Many users sought improved conversion tracking, resulting in this carefully anticipated feature.
Currency is by default USD but can be modified to fit user needs.
Conversion Value, defaulted to 1, is also user-customizable, enhancing tracking fidelity and Google Ads reporting capabilities.
