We're thrilled to introduce several enhancements to our Calendar Activity Logs, designed to provide clearer and more accurate records of third-party event updates. These improvements are aimed at helping users quickly understand the history of an event, thereby reducing confusion and potential support escalations.
One of the key updates is the enhanced tracking of third-party calendar events. Updates made in platforms like Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCloud will now be logged as "Updated by Third Party" in the activity logs. This change replaces the previously ambiguous entries, allowing for a clearer understanding of where changes originated. System-made updates will still appear as "Updated by [User Name]" to maintain clarity.
Another new feature includes a visual enhancement for empty activity logs. If there are no logs available for a selected date range or filter, the system will now display an empty state illustration instead of presenting an empty screen. This addition enhances the user experience by clearly indicating the lack of data.
We've also expanded our logging capabilities to cover blocked slots. Now, any updates made to blocked slots will be appropriately recorded in the activity logs, ensuring that all changes are transparent and traceable.
Finally, events uploaded to iCloud will now create a log entry that reads "Uploaded to iCloud." This enhancement ensures that our users enjoy consistency across all calendar integrations.
These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to improving transparency and usability in the Calendar module. They are designed to make your scheduling and record-keeping more efficient and reliable.
