  1. Per-Agent Knowledge Base Assignment: Customize each voice agent with a dedicated knowledge base tailored to its specific use case or audience.

  2. Trigger-Based Invocation: Define trigger prompts to activate the knowledge base, ensuring the agent taps into it based on user intent.

  3. Dynamic Query Matching: Once a trigger is activated, the agent can interpret the entire user query and retrieve the most relevant knowledge base content.

  4. Seamless Maintainability: Any update to the linked knowledge base is immediately reflected in live conversations, eliminating the need for extra logic.

  5. Create a New Knowledge Base: Easily create and link new knowledge bases to your voice agents for enhanced functionality.

  • Access this configuration under Voice AI Agents by selecting your Voice AI Agent, then navigating to Agent Goals > Knowledge Base. It supports both Basic and Advanced modes.
  • This feature is ideal for processes like FAQ handling, product info delivery, and domain-specific voice workflows.
  • Each Voice AI Agent supports only one knowledge base.

To enable this new feature, visit Settings > Labs and toggle on "Knowledge Base for Voice AI Agents."
