These updates are designed to streamline payment calculations and ensure comprehensive guest information capture, significantly benefiting your event or service-based business.
Payment Calculation Based on Attendee Count
- You now have the ability to automatically collect payments based on the total number of attendees, including the primary booker and all guests added.
- The payment amount is multiplied by the total number of attendees, ensuring accurate charges directly through the booking widget.
- This feature is perfect for group bookings or services that are priced per person, eliminating any potential payment discrepancies.
A newly introduced setting mandates guest details during the booking process:
- Users must include at least one guest to complete the booking.
- The booking form will systematically collect Guest count or Guest name and email information.
This guarantees that guest details aren't overlooked, crucial for appointments like couple’s therapy, restaurant reservations, or group activities, where an additional guest is typically required.
How to Enable
To activate these features, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to Calendar Settings and select the Edit Calendar option.
- Access the Forms & Payment tab.
- In the Add Guests section, switch on Require Guests for Booking to make at least one guest necessary.
- In the Payments section, activate Collect payment for all attendees to charge according to the total guest count.
