Enhanced Call Transcription: Now Available for IVR Calls

We're excited to announce that our transcription feature has been expanded to include IVR calls. Previously, transcriptions were only available for regular calls, but with this update, IVR and workflow calls are now covered as well. This enhancement ensures that all your call data can be efficiently transcribed, providing valuable insights and facilitating streamlined communication and record-keeping.

To take advantage of this feature, ensure that your calls are recorded. You can enable call transcription by navigating to your account settings and selecting: Phone Numbers > Advanced Settings > Voice Calls > Voice Intelligence.

Friendlier Names for New Phone Numbers

In addition to these transcription improvements, we've made updates to the way new phone numbers are labeled. Previously, the friendly name for a new phone number was simply set as the phone number itself, making it less intuitive to manage. With the new update, your phone numbers will be given more descriptive names such as "Ronak's Number" when Ronak is the individual purchasing the number. Of course, these names can still be customized to suit your preferences.
