Add Cards for Custom Payment Providers

You can now enable customers to securely save their card details or other payment method information with supported custom payment providers. This enhancement provides several benefits:

• Convenient Checkout: Customers can enjoy a faster checkout process by storing payment methods for future use.
• Customer Loyalty: By reducing the need for repeated data entry, customers are likely to return for future purchases, improving loyalty.

The payment methods available in the addition flow will depend on the offerings of the custom payment provider.

View Saved Payment Methods

Empower your customers by allowing them to view their saved payment methods when making payments via ‘Charge Now’ or ‘Record Payment’ within invoices. It’s important to note that this feature is not available for off-session payments connected to subscriptions or one-time products.

Off-Session Charging Support

Off-session charging helps you maintain business continuity without interrupting customer convenience:

• Delayed Payments: Securely charge a customer’s saved payment method off-session—perfect for handling delayed payments.
• Efficient Recovery: Manage missed or pending payments more effectively by utilizing saved payment methods for off-session transactions.

Accessing the New Features

These enhancements can be accessed through:

• Add Card on File: Navigate to Contacts > Contact Details > $ icon > Actions > Add Card on File
• Charge Now: Find it via Contacts > Contact Details > $ icon > Actions > Charge Now
• Record Payment: Available under Payments > Invoices > Record Payment > Charge a Card
