Enhanced Control with Bot Status for Individual Contacts

Introducing Bot Status for Individual Contacts

We're excited to announce the Bot Status for Individual Contacts feature, which provides enhanced control over the AI bot's activity for each contact. This feature allows users to monitor and manage the bot's status with options such as Active, Sleep/Snooze, or Inactive—directly from the message composer. This enables more personalized interactions with your contacts.

How It Works

Accessing Bot Status

  • Navigate to the Conversations tab.
  • Within the Message Composer for any contact, you can view the bot’s current status. An active bot is indicated by a green online icon.

Turning Off the Bot for Specific Contacts

  • Click on the bot status icon.
  • Select Inactive from the dropdown menu.
  • Optionally, set a duration for automatic reactivation, or leave unchecked to keep the bot off indefinitely.
  • The bot's status will update to reflect your selection.

Using the Sleep Timer

  • Pause the bot temporarily by selecting Sleep/Snooze and setting a specific time for automatic reactivation.

Automatic Off Scenarios

  • The bot automatically deactivates in scenarios such as reaching the maximum message limit or when a message is sent manually or through a workflow.

Note: This feature is available when the bot operates in Suggestive or Auto-Pilot mode.

By leveraging these controls, you can ensure that your AI bot engages with contacts at the most appropriate times, fostering better communication and interaction.
