Enhanced Control with Updated Dedicated Domain Default Header Fallback

Updated Behavior for Dedicated Domain Default Header Fallback

Our latest update brings important changes to how the Dedicated Header operates when sending emails through a dedicated domain. These changes aim to enhance email deliverability and provide better control over your email identities.

Key Updates Introduced

Fallback Header Activation Only on DMARC Failure

The Dedicated Header, which includes the “From Name” and “From Email”, will now be applied only when DMARC alignment fails. This is determined based on SPF/DKIM logic, ensuring your emails maintain their intended identities unless absolutely necessary.

Fallback Triggered When No Custom Header is Provided

If no custom “From Name” or “From Email” is specified and DMARC fails, the system will automatically implement the fallback header. This ensures there’s always a valid sender identity even in cases of alignment failure.

How These Changes Benefit You

These updates are designed to improve the reliability of your email communications. By ensuring that the Dedicated Header only appears when necessary, we help maintain the authenticity of your emails, reducing potential delivery issues commonly associated with misaligned headers.
