Streamlined Document Management with Email Template Integration

Overview

We’re excited to introduce a new feature designed to enhance your document management experience. Previously, creating multiple workflows with different contracts was limited by the inability to configure unique email templates. With our latest update, you can now seamlessly link email templates to document templates and individual documents.

What’s New?

• Customizable “From” Information: You can now configure the “From name” and “From email” directly from Document & Contract Templates, as well as from individual documents.
• Tailored Email Subject & Templates: Each contract template can now have a specific email subject and template, offering greater flexibility and customization.

How to Use?

1. Navigate to Templates:
   • Go to Payments -> Documents & Contracts -> Templates.

2. Configure Template Settings:
   • Open your document, go to Settings, and configure the desired settings at a template level.
     
3. Implement Custom Email Templates:

• Use a workflow with a particular template or send a document using this template. The document will be sent with the custom email that’s been configured.

Important Note

If you make edits to the Subject/Template in an individual template and save it, future changes to Global settings will not affect this specific template. To amend it, changes must be made directly within the template.

Why We Built It

This feature was developed to ensure that different types of contracts can be accompanied by distinctive emails, providing the necessary context for each.
