Documents and Contracts: UX Improvement – Template Builder

What's New?

We've enhanced our template builder within the Documents and Contracts feature! Previously, when you dragged a fillable field, it could only be assigned to the creator of the template or left unassigned. Now, it will be shown as assigned to a Contact by default.

How to Use?

1. Go to the template builder within Documents and Contracts.
2. Fetch a fillable element from the element drawer such as Signature, Text field, etc.
3. By default, the element will be assigned to an entity called Contact.
4. While using this template in a workflow, the contact in that workflow will be dynamically assigned to the element.

Why We Did It?

For first-time users, it becomes easier to understand how a template fillable field will behave when used in a workflow. This ensures a smoother and more intuitive user experience.
