Enhanced Voice Billing and Reconciliation

We're excited to announce significant improvements to our voice billing system. We have upgraded our infrastructure to fetch charges from an API instead of relying on a static database. This change enhances billing accuracy, efficiency, and stability, and significantly reduces lag in wallet debits.

Improved Security Measures

Voicemail Spam Control

To tackle the issue of voicemail spam which sometimes results in long, unnecessary voicemail recordings and higher storage charges, we are introducing a new limit. Voicemails will now be capped at a maximum duration of 5 minutes, helping to control storage costs while still ensuring important messages are captured.

Number Pool Search Optimization

We have updated our search logic to make finding a number with a specific area code easier. Previously, the area code search was performed throughout the number. Now, the search logic has been refined to look for the area code only at the beginning of the number, resulting in more accurate search results.

Bug Fixes

  • Sender Info in SMS Conversations: Fixed an issue where the sender info would sometimes not be displayed in the SMS on the conversations page, even though it was being sent.
  • User Removal and Call Forwarding: Resolved a problem where calls would still be forwarded to users even after they were removed from the account.
  • Call Connect and Voicemail: Addressed a bug where some inbound calls would not go to voicemail as expected.
