We're excited to announce a vital update that brings more consistency to your email threads. This latest improvement is designed exclusively for our LC Email service, providing a more seamless experience by ensuring reply domains remain consistent. Here's what you need to know about this enhancement:

Addressing a Key User Concern

Previously, users who configured multiple sending domains in LC Email often faced domain inconsistency issues. When replying to an email, the system might randomly select a domain, potentially different from the one that started the conversation. This inconsistency resulted in email clients, such as Gmail or Outlook, breaking existing threads and creating new ones, leading to confusion and disruption in communication flow.

The Solution: Domain Consistency for Email Threads

With our new update, LC Email replies will automatically use the domain that initiated the conversation. This change guarantees that replies stay neatly within the same thread in recipients' inboxes, enhancing the overall email communication experience.

Key Updates:

1. Reply Domain Matching:

   • Replies now automatically use the original sending domain from the initial conversation.
   • If the original domain is unavailable, our system will:
     1. Default to the assigned domain if configured, or
     2. Use the primary LC domain if no assigned domain is available.

2. Thread Consistency:

   • All replies maintain their place within the original conversation thread. This enhancement ensures continuity and offers a smoother user experience.

It's important to note that this update is solely for LC Email users and is not applicable to other SMTP provider services or Mailgun.
