We're excited to share enhancements that bring more flexibility to post-call email notifications for Voice AI Agents. Previously limited to only admins and a single extra recipient, you now have the freedom to customize who receives these notifications, tailoring communication according to your individual needs.

Personalization for Better Communication

  • Personalization: Ensure that only relevant individuals receive notifications, streamlining your communication efforts.
  • Reduced Noise: Minimize clutter by preventing unwanted emails to all admins.
  • Improved Usability: Configure multiple recipients with ease, enhancing the user experience.

Key Features of the Update

  1. Flexible Recipient Selection: Choose one or more recipient categories instead of just one standardized option.

  2. Admin Opt‑Out: Notifications no longer default to all admins, giving you control over recipient selection.

  3. Recipient Categories Include:

    • All Admins
    • All Users
    • Contact’s Assigned User
    • Specific Users
    • Custom Email
  4. UI Update: A new multi-select control has been introduced in the Agent Goals tab to facilitate these options.

How It Works

Follow these steps to customize your post-call email notifications:

  1. Access the Create or Update Agent process in Voice AI.

  2. Navigate to the Agent Goals tab.

  3. Enable the setting for Receive Email Notification Post Call Completion.

  4. Select one or more recipient types:

    • All Admins
    • All Users
    • Contact’s Assigned User
    • Specific Users
    • Custom Email
  5. If you select Specific Users, choose the desired users from the dropdown list.

  6. If you select Custom Email, enter the appropriate email address.

  7. Click Save to activate your chosen notification settings.

Important Notes

  • This feature is available by default for all agents, requiring no additional setup.
  • Customize settings under Agent Goals > Receive Email Notification Post Call Completion for immediate benefits.
