Google AdWords Expands Support to Include wbraid and gbraid IDs

Google AdWords: Enhanced Support for wbraid and gbraid IDs

Addressing the Issue

Many users utilizing workflows with Google AdWords actions encountered issues due to our previous limitation in supporting only the gclid ID. Google recently expanded its supported IDs to include three types: gclid, wbraid, and gbraid. Due to this limitation, workflows did not perform as expected. Contacts with gclid IDs were successfully uploaded to conversions, while those with wbraid and gbraid IDs were overlooked.

Our Solution

After careful investigation, we've expanded our system's capabilities to fully support wbraid and gbraid IDs in addition to the existing gclid. This update ensures that both attributions and contacts can store all three ID types, allowing seamless operation of the conversion API. Contacts with wbraid and gbraid values are now correctly attributed as Paid Search sources.

Why This Matters

Incorporating gbraid and wbraid ID support is crucial for accurate attribution mapping. This enhancement ensures that all contacts carrying any of these IDs are uploaded to conversions without any hitches. By proactively addressing the issue of missing Google IDs, we can help prevent related problems and reduce future support tickets.
