We are excited to announce a new feature that will help improve your call completion and answer rates! By registering for A2P, your outgoing voice calls are more likely to be answered, thanks to enhanced verification methods including SHAKEN/STIR registration and CNAM registration.
When you register for A2P messaging, all of your phone numbers are automatically enrolled in the SHAKEN/STIR program. This registration verifies your ownership of phone numbers, making it more likely that your calls will be recognized and answered by your contacts. By confirming your caller identity, SHAKEN/STIR reduces the chances of your calls being marked as spam.
In addition to call verification, CNAM (Caller Name) registration allows you to display your business name on your contacts' phones, where supported, thus positively affecting call metrics. You only need a few clicks to set up your preferred display name.
All new A2P submissions will benefit from automatic SHAKEN/STIR registration. Current accounts with older A2P applications will undergo automatic registration updates in the coming weeks.
For those who haven't registered and wish to increase call answer rates, we recommend setting up both SHAKEN/STIR and CNAM to improve call legitimacy and visibility to your contacts.
