Instagram Ads Integrated into Ad Manager

Instagram Ads Now Available in Ad Manager

What's New in Ad Management?

We are excited to introduce a significant enhancement to our Ad Manager—support for Instagram ads. This update brings a streamlined process for creating and managing your ad campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, all within the Ad Manager interface.

Key Features:

  • Relocated Facebook Page Selector: The selector for the Facebook page has been moved into the main campaign builder flow, making it easier to align your Facebook and Instagram efforts.

  • Instagram Account Selection: Easily select the Instagram account to publish ads from. If you don't have an Instagram account linked, your ad can use the details from your Facebook Page.

  • Instagram Ad Previews: Get a sneak peek of how your ads will look across Instagram Feed, Story, and Reels through the new preview section.

How It Works:

  1. Start Your Campaign: Begin on the Ad Manager home page and click "Create Campaign" to choose a Meta Ad Campaign.

  2. Select Your Platforms:

    • Choose a Facebook Page (default is pre-selected but can be adjusted).
    • Select an Instagram Account if linked; if not, you can opt to use the Facebook Page's details.

  • Auto Placement selects all Instagram placements automatically.
  1. Campaign Details: Add relevant ad text, media, budget, audience, and view your ad preview.

  2. Publish and Review: Click "Publish" to launch your campaign across Facebook and Instagram. Performance metrics for Instagram ads will be seamlessly integrated into the Ad Manager's statistics section.

Why Use This Feature?

This feature simplifies the ad creation process by integrating Instagram ad management with your existing Facebook campaigns. Here’s how it benefits you:

  • Seamless Integration: Manage and launch ads on both platforms without leaving the Ad Manager.

  • Flexible Options: Customize Instagram ad placements or simply leverage Facebook Page attributes when needed.

  • Cross-Platform Reach: Optimize campaign performance by reaching both Facebook and Instagram audiences easily.

Notes:

  • Currently, only one Instagram account can be linked to a Facebook page at a time. To connect a different Instagram account, you'll need to delink the existing one on the Meta platform.

  • Detailed instructions for managing the connection between Instagram and Facebook Pages can be found in the accompanying help documentation.
