For store owners, the ability to deliver digital products seamlessly can significantly enhance customer satisfaction. With our latest update, digital products can be delivered instantly to customers via secure download links sent directly to their email upon purchase. Digital files can be efficiently managed through the Product details page.

How to Use Digital Product Delivery

For Store Owners

Navigating the delivery process is straightforward:

  1. Product Classification: While creating a product variant, specify whether the product is Physical or Digital. You can do this in the Payments section by navigating to Products > Select a Product > Variant Page > Shipping and Delivery.

  2. File Upload: You can upload up to 10 digital files, each with a maximum size of 100 MB. If additional files are necessary, consider creating a ZIP file. Supported file types include images, audio, video, documents, and ZIP files. Remember to save your changes after uploading.

  3. Variant Creation: Create various product variants, such as eBooks, audiobooks, or physical books, to cater to diverse customer needs.

  1. Email Notifications: Ensure the “Enable Order Confirmation Email” toggle is activated to facilitate the delivery of digital products via email. Access this in Payments > Settings > Notifications.

For Customers

  1. Accessing Downloads: Customers will receive an Order Confirmation Email with an “Access Downloads” button after completing their purchase.

  2. Customer Access Center: Clicking the download link directs customers to the Customer Access Center, where they log in using an OTP sent to their checkout email.

  3. Downloading Files: Customers can also use a unique URL for access, such as <storeurl>/store/account/orders, to retrieve their digital products.

Important Notes

  • Digital product delivery is exclusive to orders placed through E-commerce stores.
  • Cash on Delivery is unavailable for digital products.
  • No shipping fees apply to digital products. Standard charges apply if the order includes physical products.
  • Ensure email notifications for order confirmations are enabled to deliver digital downloads.
  • Customers should be logged in to access their downloads.
  • Fulfillment details for digital products will automatically show empty fields.
