Activity Tracking of Documents – Now Live!
What’s New?
With our latest update, you can now effortlessly send out a document and view its entire history from sent, edited, viewed, to signed. These new features will streamline your document management process, making it simpler to monitor and act on your documents.
- Document History: Just by clicking “view history” on the options menu, you can see the complete lifecycle of any document.
- Last Viewed Time: Hover on the contact icon to view the last time the document was viewed and the actions that need to be done by the user.
How to Use
- Open Documents and Contracts: Navigate to the documents and contracts section in your account.
- Scroll to the Dashboard: Locate the line item of the document you want to check the status of.
- Hover on Customer Icons: See the last action time, tags, and status of all users involved with the document.
- View Detailed Logs: Click on the three dots menu, then select “view history” to see all actions that have occurred on the document in the right drawer.
Why We Built It
We developed this feature to provide users with up-to-date status information on their documents, without the need to open each document repeatedly. This helps in getting documents to closure more efficiently with easily accessible information at your fingertips.
Important Notes
Please note that the last action time in the hover modal will only be available for documents sent from this moment onwards. Older documents will not display this information.
