Introducing Additional Notes in Checkout Page for Enhanced Customer Experience

We are excited to unveil a new feature designed to enhance the checkout process for ecommerce stores. Now, store owners can capture additional notes from customers directly on the checkout page. This allows customers the flexibility to provide specific instructions or details about their orders, creating a more tailored shopping experience.

Key Features

Enable/Disable Toggle

  • A convenient toggle button labeled “Enable Notes at Checkout” is included in the Checkout settings.
  • Store owners can effortlessly activate or deactivate the Notes section to suit their requirements.

Notes Checkbox Flow

  • A checkbox is strategically located between the Shipping Details and Payment Options sections on the checkout page.
  • Initially, the checkbox is unchecked. Customers wanting to add notes can simply check the box and record their instructions in a textbox.
  • Should the box be checked but the textbox left blank, the Notes section in the Order Details will remain empty, allowing for a seamless order process.

Text Customization Options

  • Customization is key. Store owners have the ability to personalize the Notes section through Text Options settings, including: Notes Heading Label Text and Notes Textbox Placeholder.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Access your Store Builder and navigate to the Checkout Page in your Ecommerce Store pages.
  2. Select the Checkout element. To integrate the Notes feature, proceed to the Advanced Section in the Settings located on the right.
  3. Within the Form Options section, toggle on “Enable Notes at Checkout.” This effortless switch enables store owners to modify the Notes section as needed.
  4. Tailor the Notes Heading and Placeholder text in the Text Options found in General Settings.
  5. Save and publish your changes to activate this feature on your checkout page.
