Announcement Channel and Notification Enhancements for Communities
We are thrilled to unveil our latest feature addition: the Announcement Channel, designed specifically to streamline communication within communities. This innovation ensures that vital updates from community admins don't get buried in day-to-day conversations, enhancing the way you connect with your audience.
Dedicated Announcement Channel
- Exclusive Admin Access: Only community owners and admins can post and comment in the Announcement Channel, allowing crucial updates to remain prominent and uncluttered.
- Visibility and Flexibility: You can pin essential announcements for better visibility at the top of the channel. Furthermore, these channels can be converted back to normal channels, enabling member interaction when needed. Announcement Channels can also be configured as public or private, providing control over who can view and access these updates.
Role-Based Access Control
- Control Posting: With this feature, regular community members have read-only access, ensuring they stay informed without altering the content.
- Create with Ease: Simply navigate to Channel Management Settings to create a new Announcement Channel or to enable this feature on an existing channel.

Notification Enhancements
In line with improving communication, we've added new notification features:

- Notifications for time-based unlock course (Inapp, Email, and Push).
