How the Auto Follow-Up Works

Your AI bot now has the capability to detect when a contact:

  • Stops replying.
  • Indicates they're busy (e.g., "I'm driving" or "In a meeting").
  • Requests a follow-up at a specific time.

Automated Follow-Up Scheduling

Upon detection, the AI takes the following steps:

  • Captures the follow-up intent.
  • Schedules a follow-up with customizable time frames (e.g., retry in 5 minutes, then 15 minutes later).
  • Resets its follow-up logic once the contact responds, ensuring the conversation remains natural and relevant.

Custom Messaging & Workflow Support

Choose between AI-generated messages or create personalized follow-up messages. Easily integrate this into workflows to tag contacts, assign conversations, or send notifications. Ensure no other bots are triggered within the same workflow to maintain a seamless conversation flow.

Working Hours Awareness

Define your business's active working hours to ensure follow-up messages are sent at relevant times. For example, if a follow-up is due at 9 PM, yet your working hours are 8 AM–5 PM, the message will be sent at 8 AM the following business day.

Dynamic Channel Switching

Maintain communication flow by switching channels:

  • If live chat becomes inactive, transition the conversation to SMS (if a phone number is available).
  • On platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp, the bot can switch to SMS if there's no response within 24 hours.
    This feature is optional and can be turned off if preferred.
