Autosave in Email Builder – Beta Release
In response to user feedback, we are excited to introduce the new Autosave feature in our Email Builder. This feature is designed to streamline your email editing process and prevent loss of unsaved changes due to unexpected interruptions.
Say Goodbye to Unwanted Surprises
Problem Addressed: Previously, users faced issues with losing unsaved edits due to accidental clicks, network disruptions, page refreshes, or specific gestures like Mac's left-swipe.
Discover What's New
- Live Autosave: Your unsaved edits are now automatically saved as a version during your editing session. No more worries about losing your work.
- Real-time Status: Simply hover over the interface to view the last saved time, keeping you informed of your progress.
- Version History: Revisit previous states of your email, allowing you to track changes and revert if necessary.
- Customizable Support: Our support team has the option to disable autosave for their sessions, providing flexibility where needed.
How to Experience the New Autosave
- Enable Autosave: Visit Beta Labs and enable the autosave feature for the email builder.
- Navigate to Email Marketing: Initiate your template or campaign creation.
- Edit with Confidence: Start editing without the need to manually save—your changes will be saved automatically.
- Real-time Hover Check: Hover to see the last time your work was autosaved.
- Explore Version History: Check out the latest saved versions to ensure all edits are as expected.
- Support Flexibility: Support users can access a toggle to disable autosave, offering control over their experience.
Important Note
As of June 1, the autosave feature will be enabled for all locations. This can be disabled via the Labs section if needed.
