We have some exciting updates for our Certificate Builder tool that will enhance your workflow and improve user experience.
1. Introducing Expiring Certificates
We are pleased to announce the introduction of expiring certificates in our certificate builder. This feature allows admins to set expiry dates for certificates issued to users, ensuring certificates remain valid and up-to-date.
2. Set Expiry at Multiple Levels
Admins can now set expiry dates at either the template level or the issued certificate level. This flexibility ensures you can manage certificate validity in a way that best suits your needs.
3. Preview Restrictions Post-Expiry
Once certificates expire, previews will no longer be available to the affected users. This measure helps maintain the integrity of your certification process.
4. Automatic Reminder Emails
To help users stay on top of their certificate validity, automatic reminder emails will be sent at T-7 and T-2 days before expiry. This ensures that users are well-informed and can take necessary action before their certificates expire.
5. Issued Certificates Take Precedence
When setting expiry dates, it’s important to note that issued certificates will have priority over template-level expirations. This prioritization ensures that any specific adjustments at the certificate level are respected.
Enhanced and Optimized Download Flow
We have significantly enhanced and optimized the certificate download flow. This important update ensures that users can seamlessly download certificates across all major browsers, addressing previous issues where downloads were difficult on certain browsers.
