Announcing: @Mention or Tag Profiles in Social Planner
We’re excited to introduce a new feature in our Social Planner: @Mentions and Tagging! 🚀
What’s New?
Our Social Planner now allows users to add @Mentions in their posts. This feature enhances your social media interactions by enabling you to reference and link public profiles or pages directly. Here’s a breakdown:
- Supported Platforms: @Mentions will work for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter (X), while plain text mentions will be available for Instagram, TikTok, and Google My Business (GMB).
- Customization: When using multiple social channels, you can now customize the post for each channel individually, allowing you to search by the name, followers, and platform specifics.
How It Helps
- Improves Post Engagement: Mentioning profiles can drive more traffic to your posts by alerting the mentioned profiles and potentially their followers.
- Cross-Promotion: Brands and influencers can strategically cross-promote each other’s content, expanding reach and engagement.
- Enhanced Searchability: On certain platforms, @Mentions contribute to the searchability of your content, making it easier for users to find relevant posts.
How Does It Work?
- Navigate to Social Planner:
- Go to Marketing > Social Planner.
- Create a New Post:
- Click on the option to create a new post.
- Select Social Channels:
– Choose the social platforms where you want your post to appear. – If you’re using more than one social channel, you’ll be prompted to enable the customization for each channel option.
- Add @Mentions:
- To tag a user, simply type “@” followed by the word to search for the tagged user. You’ll be able to identify profiles by username, followers, and social profile.
Note: This feature is currently not supported for CSV and other non-standard posting options.
