New Feature: Hide Third-Party Calendar Details
We’ve introduced a Private Mode for synced events, enhancing privacy for your third-party calendar details. This new feature ensures that only the user who connected the calendar can view the event details, thus preventing unauthorized access and maintaining confidentiality.

How to Enable Private Mode
You can manage this feature from two locations:
My Profile
- Navigate to Settings > My Profile.
- Scroll down to the Calendar Configuration section.
- Find the Private Mode for Synced Events option and enable or disable it as needed.
Calendar Settings > Connections
- Go to Calendar Settings > Connections.
- Scroll to the Private Mode for Synced Events option.
- Enable or disable the setting according to your preference.
- Availability: This feature is available in Labs and enabled for all users by default.
- Privacy Control: Your synced events remain visible only to you, giving you complete control over your calendar's privacy.
