Schedule Your Posts for Communities with Social Planner

We’re excited to introduce a powerful new feature in Social Planner that allows you to schedule, publish, and manage your posts across various community groups and channels. This enhancement promises to streamline your content distribution process and boost engagement by ensuring consistent, timely interactions within your community networks.

What’s New?

This update brings in key improvements that cater to your community engagement needs:

  • Scheduled Posting: Plan and manage your posts in advance, enabling them to go live at the optimal time for each community. This helps maximize engagement and ensures your message reaches the audience precisely when it matters most.
  • Unified Content Management: Monitor and control all your posts from a single interface. Access your post history, upcoming schedules, and current statuses effortlessly across all communities for efficient adjustments and management.

How Does It Work?

  1. Access Social Planner: Navigate to Marketing > Social Planner to get started with scheduling your community posts.
  2. Connect Your Communities: Within the Social Planner, go to the ‘Settings’ page and link community groups and channels. Add a community group by selecting from the available list in your current account.

  3. Add Channels: Once added, all channels within the group will be accessible from Social Planner.

  1. Compose Your Post: Visit the Post Composer page, select multiple channels, and see which channels belong to which groups.

  2. Create Rich Content: Add your content with rich text media. Images and videos are supported, with a maximum of 10 images or videos allowed. Image size can go up to 10 MB, while video files can be up to 1 GB with a minimum 4-second duration.

  3. Finalize Details: Fill in mandatory fields like Title and choose the user profile under which the post will be published.

  1. Schedule Your Post: Once everything is set, schedule your post for the community.

Important Points to Note

  • When there are updates to channels or group details, they won’t automatically refresh in Social Planner. Head over to Social Planner Settings > Communities to re-sync.
  • Set default users in Social Planner Settings for consistent post publishing.
