Introducing Subscription Pause and Resume Functionality
We are excited to introduce a new feature that enhances subscription management for businesses. Users now have the capability to pause and resume subscriptions, offering greater flexibility and control over their billing processes.
What Can You Do?
- Pause and Resume Subscriptions Easily: Businesses can now pause subscriptions either definitely or indefinitely directly from the Payments > Subscriptions section. Simply click on the three dots next to any subscription in the list to access this feature.
- Manage from Subscription Details: The option to pause subscriptions is also available from the subscription details page, giving users multiple ways to manage their billing cycles.
- Resume with Ease: Subscriptions paused definitely will automatically resume after a set end date, but you also have the option to resume them manually at any time before this date. Indefinite pauses require manual resumption.
- Invoice Management: When a subscription is paused, invoices will still be generated on every payment due date. Customers can choose to receive these invoices either in a draft or void state. Draft invoices can be sent to customers, and any payments against these invoices will be marked against the subscription.
- Enhanced CSV Downloads: Pause-related fields, including Paused Date and Resume Date, have been added to the CSV download of subscriptions for more comprehensive data management.
