How the Add Contact Info Feature Works

Accessing the Feature:

To leverage the Add Contact Info capability, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Bot Goals tab.
  2. Click on the Add Contact Info button to begin.
  • If you're setting up a new bot, ensure you edit the bot's name or assign a new one to access this feature.

Setting Up the Fields:

  1. Action Name:

    • Assign a unique action name to identify the update, such as "Contact’s Date of Birth."
  2. Select Field:

    • Choose the specific field to update, whether it's a name, phone number, email, business name, or date of birth.
  3. What to Update:

  • Provide a description of the update. For instance:
    • "This is the birth date of the contact." for the Date of Birth field.
    • "This is the business name of the contact." for the Business Name field.

  2. Save Your Settings:

  • Start with a mandatory prompt:

    • Ask for:

      • The customer's name
      • The customer's email
      • The customer's phone number
      • The customer's date of birth
      • The customer's business name
