We are excited to announce a new feature that puts more control into your hands— the Cancellation & Reschedule Policy setting for the booking widget. This feature intends to help businesses manage their calendar better by setting specific time frames during which bookers can cancel or reschedule their appointments.
Until now, bookers had the freedom to cancel or reschedule appointments at any time through the booking widget. With this new feature, you can define a specific window after which the cancellation or reschedule links will be disabled. If bookers need to make changes after this window, they'll have to contact the business directly.
When this setting is enabled, a cancellation and a rescheduling link will be included in the additional notes section and the calendar invite. These links will expire based on the configured time frame, ensuring the booker cannot make changes past this period.
