Introducing the New Stores Tab and Easy Store Creation Feature

What’s New?

Stores Tab Under Sites

We are excited to announce the addition of a dedicated “Stores” tab under the sites section. Store owners can now manage and view all their stores in one place, providing a seamless and clear-cut interface for display. This new tab brings:

  • All stores listed under a single tab called “Stores.”
  • Features such as sorting, filtering, folder creation, etc., akin to funnels and websites.
  • Visibility for both existing and newly created stores.

Create a Store Directly from the App

Introducing the much-anticipated feature: the ability to create a brand new e-commerce store with just one click! This update simplifies the creation process by allowing users to:

  • Create a new store directly from the stores submenu with all the store pages pre-created by default, improving user experience drastically by removing the multiple steps required in the previous flow.

How to Use:

Stores Tab Under Sites

  1. Navigate to your account and go to the Sites section.
  2. You will now see a new tab called Stores.
  3. Click on Stores to view all your created stores.

Create a New Store

  1. Navigate to the Stores menu.
  2. Click on the “New Store” button.
  3. A modal will prompt you to either create a fresh store “From blank” or use a template. Select “From blank” and enter the store name.
  4. You will see a loading progress as all the store pages are created in the background.
  5. Once completed, you will have a brand new store with all your store pages.

Some Key Aspects and Points to Note:

  1. All websites that have been converted into stores will appear under the stores section, and vice versa.
  2. Stores are inherently websites, and they can be found under both the stores and websites sections.
    • Deleting a store from the stores section will also delete it from the websites section.
  3. When a new folder is created in either the stores or websites section, it will appear in both sections.
    • The folder in the stores section will contain only stores, whereas the folder in the websites section will contain both stores and websites.
    • Folders can only be deleted from the websites section.
  4. While creating a store from a template, only e-commerce store templates will be available under the stores section.
    • The websites section will contain all website templates.
