To enhance the shopping experience and ease product discoverability, we are excited to introduce the new Sort and Filter feature for your e-commerce stores. Now, as a store owner, you can offer a more organized and user-friendly product list page to your buyers. Here's everything you need to know about this new update.
About the Update
The arrangement of products within the Product List page has often been a challenge, affecting the discoverability of products. This has been a bottleneck for both buyers and store owners. To tackle this, we have introduced the capability for store owners to add sort and filter options directly on the product list page.
How to Use the Sort and Filter Feature
- Navigate to the Product List Page: Select the product list element. You will notice two new toggles to enable Sorting and Filtering. Enable these toggles to add the Sort & Filter elements to your Product List page.
- Configure Sort and Filter Properties: Customize properties such as sort and filter text color, sort and filter pill color, and the reset button color to match your store's theme.
- Save and Publish: Click on save/publish to apply and view your changes on your site.
Key Aspects to Note
- Availability: Sort and filter options are only available on the product list page.
- Default Behavior: The default sort order is set to "Date – Old to New".
- Initial Display: By default, all products will be shown without any filters applied.
