Whether you’re embarking on your ecommerce journey or establishing a new storefront, this wizard provides a streamlined setup process, ensuring you cover all critical steps without a hitch.

Simplified Setup in Six Essential Steps

The Store Setup Wizard simplifies store creation by guiding you through six vital setup stages, complete with progress tracking and helpful documentation. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Create & Customize Store: Personalize your store to reflect your brand.
Setup Payment Provider: Choose and configure your preferred payment gateway.
Add Your Domain: Secure a unique domain for each store for a professional online presence.
Add Products: Seamlessly upload your product listings.
Setup Shipping: This step is complete only once you configure shipping rates.
Place a Test Order: Ensure everything works flawlessly before going live.

How to Navigate the Wizard

Go to Sites > Stores.
If you’re setting up a store for the first time, you’ll be greeted by a welcome modal. Click “Start Onboarding.”
Follow the step-by-step instructions, using the guidance, calls-to-action, and documentation provided.
Track your progress as you complete each step. Feel free to skip and revisit steps as needed.
Once you check all the necessary steps, a “Setup Completed” call-to-action will confirm that your store is ready for launch.

Important Considerations

First-Time User Welcome: The onboarding modal is a one-time prompt for new users or those who haven’t completed the setup. It disappears upon completion.
Complete Shipping Setup: Ensure you’ve configured at least one shipping rate for completion.
Persistent Step Completion: Once a step is complete, it remains checked, even if you revisit it.
Flexible Step Order: Enjoy the flexibility to complete steps in any order, returning to them at your convenience.
Setup Completion Notification: After all steps are completed, the “Setup Completed” notice stays visible for three days and then automatically disappears.
