Introducing the New Course Migrator Feature

We’re thrilled to present a groundbreaking feature that reshapes and simplifies your course migration process. With this latest addition, moving your courses from competitive platforms to your SMBcrm account is quicker, smoother, and more efficient than ever before. While not all features may cause fireworks, they do build to making your experience with us seamless and centered around your needs.

How to Access the Course Migrator Feature

The Course Migrator is ready and available for your utilization. You can access it by navigating to Memberships > Courses > Products > Create Product and finally selecting Import.

How to Import a Course Using the New Feature

Following these simple steps will lead you to successfully import your course:

Step 1: Create a Learner Profile

Begin by creating a learner profile within the competitive platform and add all the courses you’d like to migrate. After entering relevant credentials, simply click Import. This sets the migration process in motion.

Step 2: Monitor the Importing Process

Upon clicking Import, you’ll be logged in via the learner credentials you’ve provided, and the import of your courses will begin. You can view the progress in real-time and keep up-to-date by hitting the refresh button. If you need to cancel the importing process, just click the Cancel button. You are also free to switch between tabs while the import process is ongoing, ensuring no disruption to your other tasks.

Step 3: Celebrate Successful Importation

After the courses have successfully migrated, they’ll be listed under the Products section. You’ll also find the Last updated information under the Import section, detailing when the last process was carried out.

Some Notes about Importing Your Courses

Here are a few things you might want to take note of before starting:

  • The import only includes the lessons that have been published and doesn’t cover videos, sub-categories within the courses, assignments, quizzes, and assessments.
  • Our recommended themes for your Library and Product sections are Encore Site and Premier Product respectively.
