We're excited to announce the release of the Transfer Bot Action! This robust feature enables seamless conversation transfers between AI bots based on specific user intents or trigger conditions, significantly improving user experience and simplifying workflows for businesses offering multiple services.
By utilizing the Transfer Bot Action, you can effectively manage and modularize your bot setups, reducing the complexity of workflows and enhancing the overall user experience. This is especially beneficial for businesses that offer a variety of services, allowing for more tailored and efficient customer interactions.
Start by accessing the bot you wish to configure and navigate to the Bot Goals tab.
Add a new scenario and choose the Transfer Bot action from the available options.
Action Name: Assign a clear and descriptive label such as "Transfer to Dental Bot."
Trigger Condition: Define the situation that should initiate the transfer, for example, a user mentioning "AC repair."
Example Phrases: Add real phrases users might say, like “My AC is not working.”
Select the appropriate bot to hand off the conversation to. It’s crucial to ensure both the source and destination bots are activated on the same channels, such as live chat, and are working in Auto Pilot mode.
When using the "Update Conversation AI Bot and Status" workflow action, remember to implement a Wait step. Omitting this step may cause the original bot to reassign the conversation repeatedly, disrupting the transfer logic.
