Introducing Trash Functionality in Media Storage

Introducing Trash Functionality in Media Storage

We are thrilled to announce the addition of trash functionality in our Media Storage, which offers a seamless file recovery experience. This feature allows you to manage your media files with greater flexibility and peace of mind.

Seamless File Recovery Experience

The new trash functionality provides a crucial safety net for your digital assets. When you delete files, they aren't immediately lost forever. Instead, they are moved to trash, where they remain for 30 days. During this period, you have the opportunity to review and recover your files before they are permanently deleted.

How to Utilize the Trash Functionality

Getting started with this functionality is straightforward:

  1. Move to Trash: When you no longer need a file in your media storage, simply delete it, and it will be moved to the trash.
  2. Navigate to Trash: Access the trash section within Media Storage by clicking on the three dots menu located at the top right corner.
  3. Review Deleted Files: Browse through your deleted files list to identify any files you might want to recover.
  4. Restore or Delete Permanently: Choose “Restore” to recover a file back to your media storage, or select “Delete Permanently” to free up space.

Important Details to Keep in Mind

  • 30-Day Retention: Files in the trash are automatically retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
  • Permanent Deletion: Once files are removed from trash, they cannot be recovered.
