Introducing Video Thumbnail Capturing and Key Bug Fixes

Courses Updates: Video Thumbnail and Bug Fixes

We are excited to announce a new feature aimed at enhancing your video editing experience. Users now have the ability to extract and use the current frame as a thumbnail for their videos. Additionally, we have implemented several critical bug fixes and improvements to further streamline your experience.

Key Features of the New Thumbnail Functionality

  • Capture Perfect Thumbnails: Users can now click on the "Use Current Frame as Thumbnail" button to capture and use the exact frame they want as the video thumbnail.
  • Seamless Integration: The thumbnail extraction process is seamlessly integrated into the video player, making it quick and intuitive to use.

How to Use the New Thumbnail Feature:

  1. Play the video to the desired frame.
  2. Click on the "Use Current Frame as Thumbnail" button.
  3. The selected frame will be extracted and set as the thumbnail for your video.

Why This Feature?

Currently, the thumbnail only appears in navigation and not on the video itself, which requires manual uploads for each lesson. This new feature simplifies the process by allowing you to select frames directly from uploaded videos, addressing user pain points, and improving the overall user experience.
