Dialer Improvements and Bug Fixes
We’re excited to share the latest improvements and fixes to our Dialer that are designed to enhance your communication experience.
Key Enhancements
- Streamlined Search Feature: The “Calling From” option in the Dialer now supports searching by the friendly name of the phone number. This enhancement allows for a more intuitive and quicker search compared to previously, where you could only search using the phone number itself.
Bug Fixes
- Secondary Phone Number Calling: There was a previous issue where the Dialer could not reach secondary phone numbers of a contact. We have resolved this, and you can now seamlessly call any phone number associated with a contact.
- Assigned Phone Number Calls: For users with an assigned phone number, the dialer calls should default to using that assigned number. This wasn’t functioning correctly in some instances, but has now been fixed. Rest assured that your calls will utilize your assigned phone number by default, improving call consistency and efficiency.
These updates are designed to provide a smoother and more dependable calling experience. We believe these changes will make your interactions more efficient and effective.
