We're pleased to announce an important update to our call recording feature that aims to enhance the transparency and user experience for all our customers. Starting now, the call recording message field can no longer be left blank.
Mandatory Message Input: Previously, if the call recording message field was completely blank, the default call recording message would play. If the field had a blank space character, no message would play. Now, the call recording message field requires at least one non-blank space character. This ensures that what you see on the user interface is accurately what your callers will hear.
Existing Cases: If your current setup includes blank or blank space call recording messages, rest assured that these will continue to function as they did before—so no immediate change is required. However, when you attempt to edit the Phone Number settings, you'll be prompted to enter a valid call recording message to proceed.
