We’re excited to announce the release of Multi-Select capabilities in Media Storage. This enhancement allows users to perform bulk actions such as moving, downloading, and deleting files, significantly streamlining file management and improving efficiency.
Key Features & Benefits
- Efficient File Management: You can now select multiple files at once using check marks or by dragging the mouse across items. This makes managing large numbers of files more effective and time-saving.
- Bulk Actions: Once files are selected, users can move, download, or delete the selected files in one go, saving time on repetitive actions.
- User-Friendly Commands: Users can enter multi-select mode either by dragging to select or by using the “Select” option in the three-dot menu. The selected files will be marked with a checkmark at the top left corner.
How to Use
- Entering Multi-Select Mode:
- Grid View: Click and drag the mouse across the files you wish to select, or use the “Select” option from the three-dot menu. Selected files will display a checkmark.
- List View: Use the checkboxes next to each file or folder to select multiple items.
- Performing Bulk Actions: After selecting the files, you can move, download, or delete them in bulk by using the corresponding buttons.
What’s Next?
- Keyboard Shortcuts: We are working on adding keyboard shortcuts to enhance the multi-select experience, further boosting productivity.
- Multi-File Insertion in Adjacent Products: Future updates will allow users to select and insert multiple files into products like funnels, websites, and other integrated tools.
Notes
- Download Limit: Users can select and download up to 100 files at a time. If a file size exceeds 2 GB, it will be skipped in multi-download and has to be downloaded individually.
- Disabled Options in Multi-Select Mode: When in multi-select mode, the “Rename” and “Get Link” options will be disabled for selected files to maintain simplicity during bulk actions.
