We are excited to announce the addition of iDEAL, Bancontact, and SEPA Direct Debit as new payment methods for business users. By offering these additional payment options, we aim to increase conversion rates by providing payment flexibility to end customers across different geographies.
iDEAL is a widely-used payment method in the Netherlands, allowing customers to pay using their bank account. This increases the ease of transactions for your Dutch customers, helping to boost your overall sales.
Bancontact is a leading payment method in Belgium. With this addition, your Belgian customers can now easily make payments, ensuring a more seamless checkout experience.
SEPA Direct Debit is commonly used across the European Union, providing a unified and straightforward way to handle cross-border transactions. This method is especially beneficial for recurring payments, making it easier for EU customers to subscribe to your services or pay invoices.
These new payment methods are exclusively available for businesses using Stripe as their payment provider. All order and transaction details will be registered under the Payments menu, just like credit card payments. This includes the functionality of the existing Order Submitted and Payment Received triggers.
This is a migratory change from Stripe's end and will propagate to all accounts over the next few days. Therefore, some accounts may already have these payment methods available, while others will see the changes soon.
