NMI and Authorize.net for POS and Mobile Payments: Mobile App Public Beta
We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our mobile payment capabilities: support for NMI and Authorize.net as payment providers! This update allows users to leverage the Point of Sale (POS) features to accept in-person payments using both new and saved cards directly through our mobile app. This feature is currently available in the public beta program, with a full launch scheduled for next week.
What’s New
- NMI Cards on File: Seamlessly use an existing card on file or add a new one to process in-person payments with NMI.
- Authorize.net Cards on File: Similarly, make use of already stored cards or quickly add new ones for transactions via Authorize.net.


Prerequisites
To get started with this exciting feature, ensure you have completed the following:
- For NMI: Set NMI as your default payment provider in the Payments → Integrations section of our web platform.
- For Authorize.net: Set Authorize.net as your default payment provider in the same Payments → Integrations area.
- Enroll in the public beta program for our mobile applications.
How to Use This Feature
- Account Integration: Begin by connecting your NMI or Authorize.net account. Navigate to Payments → Integrations on the web platform.
- Login: Access the mobile app and log into the account where NMI or Authorize.net is in use.
- Begin Transaction: Navigate to the POS section. Initiate a new transaction by entering a custom amount or adding items from your product catalog.
- Link Contact: Once linked, review transaction details.
- Payment Instruments: Select the Cards on File tile to proceed with payment.
- Card Selection: Choose a saved card for the linked contact, or tap the New Card button to enter details manually.
- Complete Payment: After card selection, tap Charge to finalize the transaction.
- Success: You’ve successfully processed your first payment using either NMI or Authorize.net!
