Enhance Your Group Navigation with the "Pin Your Favorite Groups" Feature
As part of our continuous efforts to improve the user interface and overall experience, we're excited to introduce a convenient feature that allows you to pin your favorite groups for quick and easy access. Whether you're managing your team or interacting in communities, this new addition will streamline your workflow by keeping your most important groups within reach.
What is Group Pinning?
With the new group pinning feature, users can:
- Pin Favorite Groups: You can now pin up to four of your favorite groups. This feature is available in both Gokollab and Communities.
- Dedicated Group Sidebar: Pinned groups will appear at the top of the dedicated group sidebar for easy navigation.
- Streamlined Community View: In Communities, pinned groups appear first, followed by other groups within the account setup. For Gokollab, only the pinned groups are displayed in the sidebar.
How to Pin/Unpin a Group
Pinning and managing your groups is seamless and user-friendly:
- Navigate: Open the group switcher available in the top navigation bar.
- Locate Your Favourite Group: Scroll to find the group you wish to pin.
- Pinning: Hover over the group to reveal the new pin icon on the right end of the group card and click it to pin the group. The pinned group will automatically appear at the top of the group switcher and sidebar list.
- Unpinning: If you decide to unpin a group, simply click the unpin button located on the right of the pinned group card in the switcher.
By utilizing the pin feature, you can organize your workspace efficiently, enabling a more productive workflow. This enhancement is crafted to ensure you can quickly access the groups that matter most to you.
